It is intended as a reference tool for health care providers in settings such as Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Urgent/ Emergency Care, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Adolescent Health, Family Planning, Abortion Care, Gynecology, Labor and Delivery, Obstetrics/Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Pre/Postpartum Care. Providers are encouraged to meet these best practices while creating their own innovative health care quality improvement strategies that place patients’ unique cultures, experiences and preferences at the center of care.
